Hi,

I am Craig Patten and I founded the Car Kit Company over 6 years ago.

As the company name suggests, initially we dealt mainly with basic mobile phone hands free kits and although these are still an important part of our business we now offer the latest in integrated solutions. 

Many vehicles now have on-board LCD screens often associated with the navigation systems.  We can extend the functionality of these so they can display pictures from other audio visual devices, such as DVDs, reversing cameras and iPods.

We have actively researched these technologies and have developed our own parts and tools to do these jobs, which means that currently we are the only people in New Zealand with the expertise to install many of these systems.

Imagine selecting your favourite tunes directly from iPod from your steering wheel controls while your passengers contendedly watch the video!
